id be checking the valve wiring, has anyone changed the valve or had a fiddle round with it?, should be easy to trace the water flow from the pipes to dispenser, where does the water go on the conditioner stage?
or have they just put the conditioner pot in the wrong place?, it will fill in front left of drawer at start too,
P.S WD46 is not a valid model number

sorry its a wd64- the conditioner pot will only fit one way the water goes in to the conditioner pot as normal on that stage ,there are two pipes one in to the conditioner pot and one in to the main wash and both have water going to them when the machine starts its programe.

if it has 240v to the conditioner valve on the first fill it would be a wiring or timer problem, if there is not then it has to be a dispenser problem

hi, ive just had another look and you were almost spot on it wasnt the wiring it was the pipe that had been put on the wrong valve , ive swapped them around and it works fine , but the customer said she had called out a service engineer 4 times and he had not fixed the problem , i wonder how much he had charged her , but thanks to your advice she wont need him anymore and i didnt charge her anything more than a nice cup of tea-well she is 84 and lives a few doors away, thanks again, regards andy.
