Hotpoint Aquarius Washer Dryer WDF760P

This machine will not commence a wash, spin or anything. When switched on at mains nothing happens. The On/Off button does not appear to function when pushed. However when the start /pause button is pushed various lights come on. The light on the start/pause button pulses very slowly. Various other buttons do not function. Anyone any suggestions please. Is problem on fascia board or board at rear of machine or elsewhere?

If you count the flashes, there should be a sequence, then a pause, it’s probably a fault code.

Kwatt. Thanks for message. The only light on the fascia board that flashes/pulses is on the start/pause button. It is rather feeble and slow and the light doesn’t quite go out! I shall study it again but I see no discernible countable pattern or break in the sequence. Regards
