hotpoint aquarius wd 640 – door seal

Evening chaps , a friend has asked me to have a look at his machine . Its a hot point aquarius wd 640 and he says the door seal has split . Can you tell me how involved the change is ? Only doing Bosch/Siemens stuff where the door boots are pretty straight forward , i’m wondering whats involved with one of the above.

Does WD mean its a washer dryer ?

Hi paul, it is a washer dryer, just looked on pathfinder and door boot is HTP1604804 it has a spout, and also will have a door seal retainer band on machine, sorry cant tell you any more.

Easy, peasy, front panel off just like the basic Bosch.

Remove console, (four screws, two clips, one connector plug)

Two screws top & bottom of front panel and doorlock and your are in.
