Hotpoint Aquarius WD440

    The appliance was running the other day then went bang and tripped the fuse box. When I put it on now it appears ok in that it fills up with water but as soon as it is time for the drum to spin is shows up a fault.

    On/off button and Time Saver button are both flashing quickly

    Any ideas would be appreciated

    Hi: If you look at the 5 left hand option buttons, counting from the top can you give us the number of the flashing button.

    Time saver = light 4 = F01=motor triac short circuit.

    Either the motor or the main pcb or both may be goosed. 😥

    Thanks matey: Couldn’t remember which code it was & my book is in my tool bag in the car.
