    Mains power at socket, plug and through mains filter under lid at left rear of machine. Machine totally dead and does not respond to long press of On/Off button to bring back from power save.
    Any suggestions ?
    Is this indicative of main controller failure?

    could be main controller but I would check the on off switch first

    these miniature switches get contaminated and don’t work or become unsoldered from the board

    you can check them on a multi meter on buzz mode
