    H

wonder if someone can help me out here.

My hotpoint aquarius WF 430 has an error with the “mini load & on/off lights flashing at the same time.

I noticed that on the last wash one of the drum paddles came away and an item of clothing was shredded. I removed the sump and cleaned out the remains of the t shirt. Checked the pump and the drain hose and they looked OK but now when you try to start the machine, it starts to fill with water but then either trips the mcb in the consumer board or the flashing lights appear as above.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

That is a heat related problem, which possibly ties in with your comment about an item of clothing being shredded. The heater could have been damaged by the clothing or whilst trying to remove it.

You need to be checking the heater, resistance should be around 30 ohms (when isolated from the circuit) and also check it with an isulation tester because it sounds like it may have an earth fault.

If it is a faulty heater it is available here:

Alternatively if it is not the heater it starts to get a little more complicated so one thing at a time.

If you are going to have a look your self, pull the plug and make sure it’s the correct plug-:plug: :zap: :zap:
