ParticipantVisited the above machine today.. customer said that over the last few weeks, all the LED’s or most of them were flashing when machine switched on. But if left, lights would go out, and machine could be set into a wash, and finish that wash. But while LEDS’s flash, machine will not work. I visited and the following LED’s were flashing. Out of the 5 LED’s top to bottom = 1,2,3&4 all flashing…5 not flashing……. The top right 4 LED’s from left to right = 1,2 & 3 not flashing…. 4 is flashing with the on/off LED flashing aswell. Machine did not settle, and did not operate at all. All obvious components checked out…. Disconected and re attached all conections on pcb in case of bad conections etc (as advised on forum) but same result. I am suspecting it is the pcb, but would just like your advice as to my having missed anything, or would you concur with my thoughts on diagnosis.. ❓ All advice and thoughts welcome… I have considered going down the EMW Electronics route if it is the pcb, any advice on this.. ❓

The very first post in this thread ( well worth reading the whole thread ) might point you in the right direction.

So, have you checked the capacitor that is a very common, well documented cause of this fault yet?

Not as yet no…the machine seems to have settled down asfter I disconected and then reconected the conections onthe board….so I hope it was a dodgy conection…. I have asked the customer to let me know if it starts flashing again…. I will then have a look at the capacitor….thanks..

Just an update….. After taking off the connections from the PCB, cleaning and replacing, the machine is now up and running.
Thanks a lot. -
