ParticipantHi,
New on here but the site looks very useful.Hotpoint WF000 will not start.
If you put the programme on wash it lights up all lights and then just the wash light stays on. (not the door locked light though)
If you put it onto rinse and spin all the lights light up and just the spin light stays on, but not the door locked.
And nothing!!! Sometimes the solonoid valve for cold inlet thumps momentarily but not always.Any ideas please?
Thanks,
Dean

Hi
The door interlock is probably faulty and needs replacing.

Hi Washman,
Thanks for the reply. Tried new door interlock tonight.
started and went through a wash cycle ok then sat there with the wash cycle light on after without the doorlock light.
Tried a rinse and spin cycle and a wash cycle and no go.
It will not put the door lock light on or start a cycle.
Starting to wonder if it is the programme.
I am competent with a multi-meter if you can suggest any checks.
Thanks again.Dean.

Check the motor brushes
Power off and unplug from the wall before attempting any repair to your appliance.

Hi I’m also new on this site I have exactly the same problem as Dean C I have tried changing both hot and cold inlet valves, the Pressure switch and both of the PCB boards (yes I’ve been busy) but it still hasn’t cured my problem. at one point during changing all the above the washer filled up and drained (drum turning) but then it went all silent again :rolls: as I said everything Dean has mentioned is happening to my Hotpoint WF000 I don’t know what else to try please HELPPPPP! :haier:
