Will it not empty if you set it to a spin cycle? If not then you may have a blockage. The main sump hose and filter is at the back at the bottom. It’s inside the large black rubber hose under the drum. Be sure to take the mains plug out and have several large towels handy.

Hello yes it will empty when you put into spin cycle. If you put it into a cycle it fills, aggitates ,for few mins then takes in more water aggitates again. Then the same few mins again then takes in more water. At this stage the water is well up inside drum.

I am pretty sure your problem still lies in the sump hose, check it out. 😉

All guesswork, speculation and elimination from here.
The fact that it will not empty and that it fills intermittently suggests two different faults but could also be a faulty pressure switch, not that common on this machine.
There could be a blockage or a tiny pin hole in the pressure hose.
Could be wiring harness chafing somewhere.
When you removed the filter did you look into the small chamber on the right of the filter that has the thin, clear plastic pressure hose attached. If this gets blocked with gunge it will cause problems.
It might be time to get an expert to look at it. 😉
