I have replaced brushes on previous hotpoints, but I have noticed that the motor is now at the bottom of the Wma44.Do I have to remove the motor to replace them? The machine is just over 5 years old and out of the parts warranty. It would be worth while trying the brushes before investing in a new machine.Any advice would be much appreciated.

yes the motor has to come out to do this job, ***do not even start unless the plug is out***
