It’s a £50 call out plus vat plus parts plus labour to get someone to look at my machine so it would be cheaper to buy a new second hand one or to fix it myself if I can.

I am pretty sure it’s the pump. The machine washes normally and spins but isn’t draining through the hose.
I’ve cleared out the trap at the bottom, found a hairgrip but nothing else, no gunk even. I’ve blown down the hose and it doesn’t seem to be blocked.

I’ve googled how to change the pump and it looks pretty straightforward but I can’t work out how to get into the machine to change it! There is no access panel at the back like there is in the video I found – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7kLilSs … aE&index=1

    Any help appreciated.

    Hi Lisa,

The pump sits directly behind the filter but I’m afraid that on that model I’m not sure exactly how you get to it. Some of them though, aren’t the easiest to get into.

Thanks for your reply, I’ve fixed it by blowing down the tube harder!
In future though I’ll buy washing machines that have access panels!
