    Hi,
just in case anyone encounters this – I’ve had this machine for 5 months and at the end of a normal cycle the door light started flashing. From then on couldn’t get the thing to start another cycle. Door light kept flashing despite switching on/off on the front panel. :bang:

Was not best pleased as my OH gets fretful if there is a possibility of a growing pile of washing for 2 kids!

Was contemplating a few options –
1/ any help in troubleshooting guide
    – nope
    2/ call helpline in manual
    – check if warranty is still valid ~ 1 year
3/ consult the UK whitegoods Oracle
    – no example on search yet as machine is too new 🙁

finally decided I’d do some basic checks. Tried switching on the mains switch – hey presto the fault cleared. Must be a interlock with the door latch and the PCB power.

hope this helpd anyone else who sees it.

Yes, these days we are encouraged to switch things off when not in use but they make machines with no proper On/Off switch so they are always in a sort of “standby” mode. The domestic appliance industry does pay lip service to energy conservation in the design of wash programmes etc but the overall impact of their activities is doing little to postpone the demise of our planet.

    Hi . . .
Many thanks for this post . . I had the ‘door’ flashing light.
Was just about to start stripping down the machine . .then thought . . .Internet!
After reading this, I did what I would normally do with equipment at work . . ‘master reset’/power off . . wait . . power on. All is now well. The machine is doing its job . . 🙂
Just didn’t think about the ‘master reset’ at home . . Doh!
Keep up the good work with these posts!
