    Hi,

    New to forum but am hoping for some spare part help.

    My hotpoint Aquarius WML730 washer has a problem with drum turning slighly and stopping almost immediately over and over.
    I found the 2 wires on the tacho generator both snapped. Have searched for replacement but really struggling.
    Motor is a welling HXGM1L.52, I found what looks the same however its for a slightly different motor type (Hotpoint Tacho Generator For Motor 6170A2510). Is this one and the same item?

    Any help appreciated.

    The small tacho has not been available as a spare for Hotpoint motors for years. That one is for an Indesit motor but it doesn’t look like it will fit the Welling motor.
