    Hello all,

I’m at a loss on this one and hoping someone can give me some advice please.

I have a Hotpoint Aquarius WT540 that’s developed a fault this morning, whenever I power the machine on from the plug the LED’s will flash on for a second then there’s nothing, if I power off the wall socket or pull the plug out then put it back in and power the socket the LED’s flash for a second again and that’s all I’m getting, I’ve tried plugging it into a different socket, check the connections in the plug, but still having the same issue.

Everything I’ve read this morning talk about their LED’s flashing continuously but mine don’t.

    Has anyone got any suggestions?

Kind regards and thanks in advance

If it is under 5 years old then take advantage of your five year (labour around £105) parts warranty.

If it is over 5 then get rid and buy something decent, the Indesit electronics in these machines are woeful and it sounds like you have a main pcb failure or possibly the facia pcb.
