Common faults on Hotpoints, 1 min left to go, 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the time it’s caused by the heater or the NTC.
Now and again it can be caused by the Module but this tends to be rare unless you can hear the heater relay chatter during the wash cycleFebruary 3, 2011 at 12:49 pm #343461shaun67

Tired Askoll pump running hot then slows when very hot water has to be pumped away?
Try running it on a spin only for 5 mins or more, if it gets too hot to touch then there’s your problem. 😉

Absolutely correct, but I’m suggesting that in this case the pump windings are electrically OK but the pump bearings are not in the best of health? Probably gets red hot after a few minutes running and slows up big time in the process.
Have you ever seen an Askoll pump winding overheat and melt it’s housing when a Color Catcher gets in there?
Oh! Another thought just crossed my mind….that ruddy blue flap valve in the pump outlet….take the darn thing off, see if that sorts it. 💡
