    Hotpoint AQXXD169PMUK

    F8 Heater relay or pressure switch

    When I went there the machine was full of water and would not empty pump stuck, so drained it down into a bowl. I must have got about 10 bowl full’s out. Tried to spin clothes, pump now runs drum turns and after two or three minutes I get “F8 blockage”

    Have checked heater 33 ohms, insulation 133 Meg ohms, also changed pressure switch still F8.

    Am I looking at changing the board or is there anything else I could try?

    The fault turned out to be a bad connection on the plug-in connecters to the main PCB, I had squeezed the small ones but it was not until I got a needle and eased each one out a bit that it cured it.

    I did first send the board to EMW who did not find a fault.
