This machine has been reliable although I changed a noisy pump a couple of weeks ago. It worked fine for several washes afterwords.

Now it doesn’t fill at all, then reports a H2O error and, if left switched on, eventually changes to reporting a F-01 error.

The water supply is ok and the solenoids both work ok (I independently powered them and water flowed ok), so I assumed that it must be the controller (a Mk 6 board).

I’ve replaced it with another from EMW Electronics (programmed for this machine)… and get the same results. I checked the door interlock (just in case there was a voltage drop across the contacts) but that seems ok too.

Any idea what else I may have missed?

Motor fault error I believe. 🙁

Have a little read of THIS POST as it seems you’re not the only one! 😯

At EMW’s suggestion, I returned both original and their replacement controller so they could read some of the internal logs to see if it would shed more light. They sent be a controller (back in just less than 24 hours of me posting the original) with a later software version… and now it works!
EMW said that sometimes intermittent earth leaks on the motor when warm can cause the software to loose settings – I don’t think too much of the board’s EMC levels if that is really the case.
If the fix doesn’t stick, I’ll post a further update. Otherwise, no news is good news.

We don’t think much of Indesit electronics period, they suck big time. :rolls:
