Hi all. My Hotpoint Atlantis had a split inlet valve due to freezing from recent cold weather. I have replaced the valve but it’s still not filling. You can here the valve kicking in but stops immediately. Any ideas please?

Model number and serial number please….. and you mean Aqualtis? There are so many variants that these numbers are vital to diagnose. Although if the valve has frozen then defrosted and sprayed water inside the cabinet it could have affected the module which is situated at the back right lower corner of the machine.

    Re: Hotpoint Atlantis not filling

That machine has twin valves fitted directly to the dispenser top. You did not mention if there was water sprayed inside the machine; if there was the likely outcome would be module (electronic circuit board) would have blown for three reasons:-
    1) the water had splashed over the module or –
    2) the valve connections got wet and shorted the module –
    3) the pressure switch (controls the fill and empty) got wet and failed in itself and / or blew the module.

Either way the module is a manufacturer fit only as the board has to be flash written with the correct software and only Hotpoint have that software.

    Hope that helps!

Yes water was spraying heavily inside the machine. Thanks very much for the info.
