    Hi
    We have a Hotpoint built in oven BD62/2, the fan has stopped rotating when we put the fan oven on.
    I have checked the fan oven element with a multimeter, it is working.
    I can rotate the fan by hand although it does move as freely as I would like.
    Does this mean the fan motor is finished? Or could it be something else?
    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Not an uncommon fault, decent, low cost alternative motor is available in the site shop. Just remember the fan securing nut is a left hand thread. 😉

    Thanks for the quick reply iadom and the heads up on the fan but. Apart from the nut I assume that access is from the back, so the unit needs to be taken out of its frame?

    Yes, be sure to isolate from mains first.
