Without the decor door panel in place the spring tension will not allow the door to stay open. However, the spring tension can be adjusted to suit the respective weight of most types of decor door panel, from mdf composites to solid hardwood. You’ll find an adjusting screw in the top corners of the tub will allow slackening or tightening the tension for the perfect balance. 😀
HTH Fase? 😉

thanks martin for your reply. is that the 2 hex screws at the top with wire rope. should the door go down the full way as it gets near the bottom it starts to catch. fasetester 🙂

Yes those hex screws adjust the spring tension- not sure which way off hand but you’ll suss that one I’m sure.

Now if the door “starts to catch” as you put it, I would suggest there may be a problem with the hinge or spring unit or even with the door catching the kitchen furniture maybe? Again you’ll have to take a closer look on that one.
Cheers! 🙂
