Hotpoint bf1620 failing during cycle

Hi,
For a while now my dishwasher had failed during any cycle. It runs for about an hour and it suddenly let’s out a very short beep and then drains. When I open the door there is some soap still inside, the eco bulb is flashing rapidly and I can only reset it by turning it off at the mains for about a minute. When the door is opened it is usually hot inside. Could it be overheating?
