The seal on the door of my bf1620 integrated dishwasher keeps ‘popping’ up. Do I need a new seal or can it be ‘fixed’ in place somehow. It looks Ok??

As a new seal is only around £4.00 plus vat, that may be your best option. It should just push back but it may have become distorted if it keeps popping back out.

Part number is C00141317 (link), an e-mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should get you sorted.

I also have a leaking problem, it’s leaking from the bottom at the sides, had a look at all the seals look intact, so just can’t understand where the leak is coming from.

It seems when the suds get really going, it pushes the soapy water out of the bottom at the sides. Have been quoted 99 for a 1 off callout charge, but am loath to do that if it’s a simple fix.

    Cheers

With the machine circulating, push the top of the door inwards. If the machine gets quieter, the top loop on the body where the door latch engages needs adjusting back to pull the door a bit more closed.

    No – it’s a BFI620 – Indesit machine with the Bit100 controls.

The machine should not have loads of suds in it, are you using 5in1 tabs or similar, or in a soft water area?,
Suds leaking from the door is a sign of overdosing on detergent

Yah, using Aldi 5in1. Am in the Peak District, not sure if we are soft water or not (think we are).

Whats the recommended stuff to use?
