Wondered what colour the inlet hose is when supplied.Worked on one (heater) and it had a red inlet hose inside the outer transparent cover which is supposed to indicate a leak and be bright red so slightlky confused .No leaks and no trace of previous leaks.

No Comprehende ? Whilst checking the heater tube noticed the fill hose has an outer transparent cover with a normal looking fill hose encased inside,it says in the user manual that if the hose leaks it turns a bright red,the hose inside the outer transparent cover is redish so I looked for any sign of leaks current or past but can’t find any so am not sure what colour these hoses start of as.
On suppliers lists thet retail at around £22 so wantyed to check first before ordering if not necessary. 😕

If there is a water leak into the outer sleeve, the red inner tube will make the whole outer tube appear to be red.
