Hotpoint BF71

Can any one shed some light on this Bosch made Hotpoint DW.

Shows “F” in the display, you can select a programme, but nothing

happens.Although the drain pump will come on if you activate the float

switch. 😕

Hi, if you search BF71 there are a few previous threads.

Assuming you reset the programme and no water in base;
If the pump works ok via the base float I would have to look a module next. Have a good look at all the edge connectors and solder joints.

Thanks for your reply Graeme.

No water in bottom of m/c (never has been)

Mod looks ok I have checked edge connectors.

There are no iffy joints on the board as far as I can tell.

Are there any known weak areas on the pcb you are aware of??

I have been back to this machine today.

The fault was an oc inlet coil.
