hotpoint BFI 620

    HI CAN ANYONE HELP. GOT A HOTPOINT BFI 620 dishwasher..original fault was not heating..send pcb board to be repaired, got board back and refitted but now when you set a program and shut door pump starts going then about 5 to 10 secs later it beeps and 1st neon flashing..looked up code says it water in base fault..base dry..changed float micro switch..still 1st neon flashes..continuity ok on motor, heater…tearing hair out..can anyone help…cheers :rolls: also continuity on orange wire from float micro switch to pcb board edge connector…..heeeellp

    Where did you send it for repair????

    At least one of the main PCB repair companies will not waste their time on these PCB’s for very good reasons. 😉

    I SENT IT TO EMW….USUALLLY DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS…DO U THINK IT COULD BE BOARD FAULT…CHEERS

    You surprise me, I thought that EMW didn’t repair these very poor quality PCB’s. 😕

    As the float switch is linked to the heater relay then it would point to a PCB or incorrect connection fault.
