    Right I think i’ve got it. There was a lose connector that had 2 thin silver connectors flanked by 2 plastic holding pins. It is now going through a wash. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the assistance so far…

    Sorry to jump back on this but the issue has reoccurred with the PCB flyhead. Do you reckon this should be soldered to the board because I have disconnect it? It looked ok to do so and came off easily. But the connection now doesnt seem right and the latest flashing light issue happens again. I have noticed that one of the silver pins is shorter than the other. Any suggestions on getting a new flylead? Here are my pics http://sdrv.ms/113UOJZ

    It is not available as a separate part, only comes complete with new pcb. You could try soldering it directly to the board, nothing to loose really.
