Thanks for the info….I pulled the machine out this morning and flipped her on her side and cut open her belly and found the good old pump recirculation capacitor measuring 0.5uF…..so have ordered a new one from CPC @ £1.60 and see if that does the job…..sorry mine was more of a hum….dont know why I said click as well !!

    Thanks for your help

I very much doubt it, sounds like the pump is jammed more likely anyway, either that or the motor bearings have seized! 🙁

Not the best machine in the world, far from it in fact. Debatable if it would be worthwhile changing the main motor TBH.

Oh dear…..I can only try and change it…..it did look a little brown around the bearing though…..I will see if i can spin it by hand…failing that…
I know how long is a piece of string but what fully integrated full size machine is best value for money at the moment ?

Best value for money would be the BSH range, Neff, Bosch, Seimens.

Buying cheap is not the way to get the ‘best value’ for your money in the long run. 😉

Changed the 4uF capacitor today, checked that the motor spun freely which it did….re-assembled…..and voila…..perfect….well as much as a BFI62 can do….!! Three washes so far……now to mop up all that water that spilled out when it was on its side…god dam it !!
Thanks for all your help and comments !!
