All I can come up with on Partfinder is that BF162 is listed as 60cm integrated, not sure if that is any help.
Pardon my ignorance, what is a ‘vanishing dishwasher’ ❓

The card is called a BIT100 so the 2 options mentioned are (I would think?) firstly for a free standing 45-60cm D/w or for a “Vanishing” model (I guess that’s the lousy Italian translation for “Integrated”???)

I will try the vanishing model initialization then. As per instructions it will tell me which it is when i power up the machine with the door closed. this is bit 100 led lights on panel 2&3; vanishing dishwasher, third last and second last led lights on. As the appliance has only 4 LEDs this is the same for both.
Hmmm.Thanks anyway

Fitted board. No 2nd and third lights. started dishwasher, filled, pressure switch clicked, continued filling drain pump kicked in 2nd light from left flashing. read as thermistor element fault. checked element for insulation/ continuity o.k. spent ages checking everything. fitted old board different fault to new.
Have got job for installation of new neff dishwasher and deinstallation/disposal of 18 month old hotpoint.
Will not waste my time on one of these machines again. 😡May 17, 2005 at 7:27 am #134824Martin

When you first fit a new bit 100 board the dishwasher goes into a test mode,
if the appliance is freestanding 2 lights are flashing on the front whilst in test mode. it then needs to be reset, switch off machine leaving door closed wait at lest 15 secs put dial to reset then switch back on – now ready for customer.
Vanishing, intergrated, pain in the arse to pull out models. when first switched on after replacing card also goes into test mode. to reset switch off with door closed, wait at least 15 secs. switch machine on open the door then reset by holding programme button down for 3 secs – now ready for customer.
make sense? good luck! 😆

Thanks clyde. Customer has replaced Vanishing dishwasher with Smeg freestanding. Quite happy to have no plinth. as long as she does not have to wash up. BFI 62 is now in my garage. Module was blown and have connected heater wiring up to tricity cooker element in vice to test.. dishwasher now operates whilst keeping the garage warm! How much is a BFI 62 element by the way? Board must have come out of test mode whilst at customers house (two lights not seen).
