    Have had an engineer come out to my dishwasher, but he does not know what the second LED light flashing means! He is trying to check if the programmer can be re-coded or if it has to be replaced. He is not a Hotpoint engineer, but a couple of his mates are and they don’t know either. The light flashes continuously and cannot be moved by pressing the Programme button. Any ideas, anyone?

    It indicates a Heating fault or Thermistor fault usually 😉

    Flashing LED 2 means either you have a heater earth fault, open circuit heater or inlet valve connections fault
