The power lamp is switched directly by the on/off switch, all other functions are controlled by the computer board, therefore your most likely culprit is the computer board itself. Be advised that this can be a “cause and effect” fault – failure of another component can damage the computer. A full inspection of the machine would be in order before rushing out for a PCB.
Power off if you plan to investigate this yourself.
