    Hello,

Great forum I have done a lot of detective work from here and hopefully won’t have to keep asking too many questions.

My BFI620 broke (yes I know they are crap!) and displayed lights 2 & 4 which is a failure to heat water?

Any road, I tested the heater element,

Element – 27ohms continuity, 2G Ohms to earth on both legs, so to me that sounds like it is ok, so my question is should I be looking to change the PCB?

    Thanks,

THe PCB and heater are both very prone to failure on these. If its not one, its nearly always t’other. :rolls:

Two different PCB’s, full serial number required to identify, both around £43 ex vat.
