Went to one of these evil things the other day. After about 2 mins washing at the begining of the cycle, it pumps out then LED’s 2 & 4 begin to flash. I understand this error code indicates a heater fault. I have tested the heater for resistance, and used a Mega to check for for earth leakage and all checks fine. Perhaps this could be the module that is faulty??? Considering that the dishwasher has allready had a new heater fitted by hotpoint and numerous other repairs, my thoughts point towards the PCB. Any ideas?
    Thank you
    Regards

Hotpoint don’t use Chinese produced machines ( not yet anyway 😥 ) although it is 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Indesit, no cut outs AFAIK on these so module is a possibility, not the cheap module on these though, around £41 ex vat list price.

Often on hotpoint d/w pcb’s there is a dry joint at the heater connection.
Just resolder and this cures the problem. hope this helps.
