ParticipantHi,
Getting lights 2+3 flashing (timeout fill I believe) as soon as machine is powered up. The door is open and no program has been selected. Module is new as just replaced for 2+4 heating fault.
Could be the new module is faulty but I wouldn’t want to presume that. Have continuity checked the inlet valve and it was ok, any suggestions as to anything else I should try before another module? Does anyone know what is actually happening during this self test?
Customer is a bit grumpy as they don’t believe the module change has actually fixed the original heating fault, so would like to have some confidence that it isn’t something else causing this new faulty before I change it again.
Thanks,

You did get the correct pcb, there are two different ones for this model dependent upon serial number.

Nope. Just double checked and it seems I’ve foolishly ordered and fitted the wrong one 🙁
I’ll order the correct one and give it a try.
Many thanks, Jon

Are the lights flashing or on but not flashing it will have to be cancelled to get out of test mode, another thing i have seen there is a plug on the side of the board sometimes with a resistor or a ribbon cable attached, if that has not been transfered to the new board it will stick in test mode as this tells the board which type of machine it is. jj

Lights were flashing. Holding down the P key didn’t reset, just kept flashing. I’m confident everything was transferred across to the new module ok. I still have the original and there is nothing obvious still attached which I should have moved across.
I’ll be going back to fit the correct module this time on Monday. Will be interesting to see if that clears the problem.
Thanks, Jon

For the record I fitted the correct part number module today and everything now works fine 🙂
Would’ve been right stumped on this one if I hadn’t asked !
Many many thanks, Jon
