    Hi,

Through process of elimination it seems our hotpoint dishwasher is forcing a switch on our main fusebox to trip.

Any idea’s why it would be doing this? It hadnt finished it’s cycle and is currently half full of water.

    Many thanks
    Chris.

Could be any number of things. Heater, main circulation pump/motor, wiring breaks etc, etc.

The only way to find out is to remove the mains plug, drain out the water, place some towels on the floor, tilt onto its left hand side ( from front ) remove the base and then check all components for insulation faults with a megger or suitable multimeter.

Start with the water heater and the main motor.
