    Yet another problem on this dishwasher – I am certain it has it in for me!

    This time light 6 flashes when it is switched on.

    It has seven lights in total.

    Any thoughts anyone?

    Thermister fault. You may hit lucky and it will have fallen out of its clip on the dispenser, otherwise it’s it’s part of the pcb, which will need replacing.

    Power off if doing this yourself.

    many many thanks for your quick response!

    Just whereabouts on the dispenser does it clip?

    I assume the thermister is the white plastic thing with the black lead connecting it to the pcb. It was loose, but I cant seem to work out where it would go on the dispenser.

    Fingers crossed in anticipation….

    There should be a clip, top right of the dispenser. The thermistor just pushes into place.

    once again many thanks for the prompt response.

    It must have worked lose AND the pcb has gone as well.

    ho hum. After so many problems it may well be on it’s final trip to the tip.

    And no more Hotpoints.
