    I have a Hotpoint BF 1680 dishwasher,which was manufactured for Hotpoint by Smeg. It has developed a fault where the RCD Controlled Circuits main switch trigers off on the Hager fuse unit. It occurs towards the end of the cycle on both regular and hot modes.
    Any ideas will be welcome.

    Could be anything, you’d need to test to be sure but the heater is probably the top pick or one of the stats.

    Smeg might be wishful thinking, it is an Indesit with all the baggage that brings with it. 🙁

    As above insulation test on the tube heater first port of call.

    PS. It is a BFI 680, I for integrated. 😉
