    ❓
    the door to my Hotpoint BFI680 will not lock! Nothing is obstructing the door but when it is turned on it will not catch. If I hold the door closed the cycle will run. Any suggestions?

    Move the loop which the door catch strikes onto forward slightly. There is usually a locking screw to allow adjustment.

    Its either that or it needs a new door catch I have used quite a few recently, power off before checking.

    did seem to be the catch, i’ve adjusted it forward all is well.
