Hotpoint BFV620X – unknown error code, but machine ok?

The full cycle completes fine and the dishes are clean. At the end of most (not all) washes I get lights 2 and 4 light up.

Heating element issue?

Not unknown by any stretch..

In fact perhaps the most common fault on this Indesit made, low end ( very low) product. :rolls:

It is either the heater or the control PCB, as it is intermittant it points to the PCB.

The chances are the fault will become more persistant. 😥

will keep an eye on it and swap out the pcb if the machine decides to die. thanks for the tip.

have to say though, i have owned more expensive Bosch dw’s that don’t clean half as well as this one. a bit noisy, though.
