hotpoint bhwd 129 wont spin

Hi guys , this machine wont start a spin , it will start the drain pump ok but just sits lights on nothing doing , i tried a wash program it will take water in but then just sits there anyone

Nothing didn’t have time looking for any general faults , is it usual hotpoint board fault?

Seriously, you haven’t even looked at or tested the motor or the motor plug connections, have you not even checked the belt? :eeek: 🙁

That means a return visit which will take up even more time. :con:

If you’re short of time and don’t wish to open her up, simply place one of these on the top and stand well back….. 😉

No lads its in my sisters house 100 miles away i got her to do a quick check over the phone in not drivin up to find the shaggin belt is off, in lookin for an idea of what i need to bring maybe a pressure sw or a solenoid ya know the parts someone has used to repair this kind of problem b4 but it looks like nobody has come across one of these

Seen loads of them in various guises, it’s just an Indesit badged as Hotpoint, three phase motor job.

Motor wiring connections very poor, motors do fail along with modules. Most faults will throw up an error code.

The only way you will be able to go with all the possible parts required is if they are fitted inside a cabinet. 😉

no 220v at the motor , press sw checks ok wiring ok to the board drain pump kicks in for 3seconds and then nowt, no lights, no error code looks like fried board i don’t see anything obvious but its smelling burnt
