Please help….
I have a Hotpoint BHWM129 integrated. The machine washes, spins and then when it gets to the end, it gives off about 5 loud “tuck” sounds. Then all the lights flash.
I switch it off and on at the mains and the lights stop flashing but the door doesnt open. I wait +- 15 min, then switch it off and on, more tuck sounds, off on, wait, repeat and then it finally releases. Clothes are clean and spun it just doesnt open. Anyone know what the issue is here?thank you

3 phase motor so not the common worn brushes problem.
Could just be the door interlock itself failing, can be caused by poor wiring connections to motor but that would cause problems at the start as well.
When you say ‘all the lights’ is it really all of them? The error codes on this machine are given by flashing ALL of the horizontal lights which you can ignore. The right hand vertical row of lights are used for the error codes, the lights are numbered from BOTTOM to TOP using the bottom five lights, so DOOR LOCK is light 1, END is light 2 and so on.
A combination of these will be on steady to show an error code.

Error code is F06, a door lock related fault. These Indesit machines use very weak wiring connections and it is very common for them to burn out at the door interlock.
A new interlock is not expensive but you may also have to repair the wiring connections to the door lock.
