    Hotpoint BHWM129UK/2. S/N:- 401248521 80786180000.

    Pump blocked with colourcatcher. Removed and filter refitted. Now set to any program, door locks, pump starts and continues for about 2 minutes then stops and nothing else happens . No fault codes displayed. Reset the pressure switch level calibration twice, still no difference.
    I’m sure I’ve heard that a prolonged blocked pump can, in some cases cause a software issue on the PCB that will then require it to be reprogrammed. I searched on here but couldn’t find anything on it. I could be wrong but any pointers would be appreciated.

    I seem to remember reading somewhere that after its finished pumping it can take upto 30 minutes for the board to reset itself and restart

    Thanks Criscold – you were absolutely right! Got the customer to leave it on for a couple of hours after the pumping had finished….. she tried it and all is well!
