Hotpoint BHWM129Uk – fault codes

Hi folks

Anyone know the fault codes for this m/c – looks similar to the BHWD listed in “known fault codes” but has 6 progress lights on R/H side if you include the door locked light as described on that post not 5.

Been to one today and customer thinks the rinse light was flashing with all the option lights but not sure (4 down or 3 up including door light) – checked filter/bit blocked but nothing exceptional. Run through rinse and spin program seems ok/ drain ok plus customer has run through 2 programs before I called (as they do :rolls:) and has worked ok.

Told her to note lights if does again but just wondered what the codes were incase I get this again.

Exactly the same, the BHWD also has six lights, only the bottom five are used for error codes. 😉

Just another way to confuse us engineers again- 6 lights but only use 5 – include the door lock light and deff the other progress light :rolls:

Sounds typical Indesit……

Nearly as bad as when I came to order a heater for an Indesit m/c about 6 mths ago and web site showed 2 types of heater – phoned them up and supplied serial number to find out whether long or short heater fitted – they said not serial number specific! – derr.. is monday morning – shall we fit long or short heaters today? – We’ll fit short because the sun’s shining :rolls:
