Hotpoint built GE washing machine model w86 timer knob

Hotpoint built ge washing machine model number w86 polar white.

Hello. Is anybody able to give me the part number for the program indicator knob for this machine. it’s the bit with the program numbers printed on it.
I can’t find any further model details or serial number. It’s about 8 years old.

Nothing remotely like that number on Partfinder Bob, no GE machines listed at all now. 😥

Will send you some info Bob. Make of it what you will, as is often the case the part numbers and the linked parts on the diagram are all to cock, what looks like the correct part numer 21 is listed as the on/off switch and the on/off switch part number 18 is listed as the pressure switch. :rolls:

My guess is that you want a C00200565 Icon Wheel W/M

Listed as special order at Masterpart, no picture though.

Thanks Jim. I’ll try that. Any idea what a HPT1602644 Control knob is? I guess that might be the bit on the outside that you turn…

I remember when they produced these machines, they were nearly 700 pounds!!! for a bog standard hotpoint with a fancy facia!

That is the control knob, NLA now, suspect you may find the indicator disc is the same. 😥
