Hello Forum,
New to this site so I ask for patience from you with this question.
11 years ago I had a new kitchen fitted and a Hotpoint Double Oven, Model AHP67X/1, was built in. Until last week it proved to be an amazing investment providing us with years of trouble free service. I noticed a fault with heating the main oven which turned out to be a problem with the fan. Since the Technician could not access the fan in the back panel the insurance company wrote it off. I was provided with a ‘like for like’ replacement today.
It turned to be a downgrade on the old one. A good oven, certainly, but not quite the same quality as the last one. The replacement is Model DD2 844 C IX. Hotpoint/INDESIT seemed reluctant to tell me if the replacement oven – delivered and quickly installed – is the 2020 equivalent of the cracking 2009 model it replaced.
I would be very grateful for any pointers that may help me understand, or discover, if my insurers have provided me with a pup.
Thank you for your time.
