Re: Hotpoint BWD12
First the bad news, followed by more bad news, what you have is virtually a 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} Indesit appliance, sadly becoming a byword for cheap, unreliable machines. You should be getting error messages via the neons on the front, they should flash if a fault is detected. If you move the control switch during a programme it will click all the way round to the position it was last set on. Do you get the mains neon flashing whilst the control is turning?
The only light on the horizon, is that as this is a Hotpoint badged machine, it is covered by a 5 year parts guarantee, if all else fails you will only have to pay Hotpoint’s modest (£90 :rolls: ) labour charge.
