    indespoint your comments were a bit strong,
    but we have all been their,
    i think over the fullness of time you will see that the moderators input to ukw are quite well balanced.

    with reguards to drilling holes into the cracks , this probaly hasnt been recognised in the whitegoods industry..

    Ally, drilling holes to stop cracks spreading is a well known, long established practise but it is only a temporary cure. Far better to make the metal involved strong enough for the job in the first place.
