Have one of these to look at , apparently the fault is that the end of the spin, water can be seen coming back into the drum ; Obvious check like drain and filter are fine, but the solenoid is energised even when power off button is off . Unit is around 4 years old , anyone have any words of wisdom for me please 😀

Sounds like a PCB failure to me. 🙁

    Time for EMW perhaps.

Thought as much, Jim , is the board one that can be plugged straight in , if bought new, or does it need programming ?

Two different PCB’s four alternative eeprom/smartcard options.

Test or repair from EMW £6.00 or approx £50.00 with a decent guarantee.

New, over £100 for pcb & card plus card reader if you don’t have one with no gaurantee whatsoever.

    You choose. 😉

Had a WMA once taking water in during spin and Penguin pointed me to worn brushes (IIRC), and he was right.
