Is there anything different about bearing replacement on this appliance. Ive never done one before. Is it spider, bearings and tub seal or do I need to order anything else cheers Paul.

Its a standard Indesit spider set up. Two different sized bearings and shaft.

Best thing to do is strip it down first. If the drum shaft is badly damaged then its probably BER, it would need a complete drum assy.

Chees Jim. So the spider doesnt come as a seperate part, its drum and shaft assy?

The bearing spider is on the outside of the drum at the rear, similar to lots of stainless drum machines. The outer tub is sealed with the inner drum and support inside it as one unit. :rolls:

If the drum shaft is OK then its a perfectly reasonable job to do, despite the inevitable blood loss. 😉

Just make sure you get the correct size of bearing kit.

    Jim.
