ParticipantHi
My Hotpoint integrated washer/dryer (BWD129) is having a bit of a fit. Its showing the following lights illuminated (0 = off, * = On but not flashing)
Wash 0______Delay *________Door lock *
Rinse 0______Super Wash *
Spin 0_______Quick Wash *
Dry *________1200/800 *Does anyone one know what fault code this means? I’ve searched all over but can’t figure it out.
To give a bit of context, there was something stuck between the drum and the pump so I took the outlet rubber pipes off and removed the offending Collar Stiffener. after putting it back together it all ran for OK for a bit. I turned it off and tilted it backwards to check to leaks. while it was leaning back it turned it on. That’s when the trouble started!
Some times I don’t get any lights coming on and the power button does nothing but most of the time i get the above light combo
Any help most welcome, I’m all out of ideas!!!

That is not a recognised fault code.
TBH tilting it back whilst still plugged in is not the brightest thing to do, especially on a machine with a 3 phase motor in it.
The electronics on these Indesit machines do not need a helping hand to break down, a simple change in the wind is all it takes. You may have allowed some water to drip onto the main circuit board or some of the connections may have become loose.
Be sure to unplug the machine and leave it untouched for at least 15 minutes before you put your hands inside.
If all connections are tight then either of the circuit boards could be faulty.July 3, 2012 at 9:22 pm #377665matt1234

Thanks for the swift reply
yes I can see now the error of my ways!
if its a new board that’s required I think the machine is off the the big scrap heap in the sky. (I’m guessing these are more than £20 or so?
Thanks again

Board around £100……………………………..but, you will also need a £20 smart card and a £100 card reader to use the card to program the board. Or pay the Indesit Company between £120 + £190 to fix it. :rolls:
