ParticipantHi,
The dispenser drawer hose that connects to the top of the drum has become dislodged for the second time and is leaking a lot of water.
I fixed this 3 washes ago when I noticed the pump filter was blocked with a bra strap that I removed. To reconnect the dispenser hose then I disconnected the whole thing then ran it under the tap to clean and check for leaks. It all seemed in good condition and no leaks.
It was awkward to attach the the top hook to the dispenser drawer, the bottom part that connects to the top of the drum you had to push the bottom end in first then twist slightly to get the top in. This seems to have a snug fit and I checked with my figures to ensure no leaks gaps.
Should this fitting have some type of connector to make it a tight fit? Without a service manual or diagram it’s hard to know what should be their.
Does this indicate the problem might be elsewhere I can’t see anything obious, as this only happened 3 washes ago. We’ve made sure the machine isn’t overloaded.
It does tend to have quite a loud whine intermittantly on spin cycle that it didnt have before.
Thanks,

you may have a sock or something small like that stuck between inner & outer drum, this may cause hose to come off from the tank fitting, if from the dispenser end then put a cable tie round it

how do you get at the inner/outter to remove something like that? It’s on the drum end that keeps coming off.

We in the trade normally smear the tub sealing edge of the dispenser hose with a little Debor glue (waterproof sealant much like evostik). Push the hose into the drum then withdraw it at a point where the moulded grommet sits neatly into position. Leave it a while to set before water testing…..simples! 8)
